This web site is a collection of verses that was put together at a time when someone dear to me was very ill and I thought that listening to individual bible verses on an IPod would be helpful.    As I got start accumulating God's magnificent promises to apply in our times of trials and testing . . . I found there were so many other verses that could and should impact us in daily in our lives.  Needless to say the bible verse list got big and keeps on growing . . .

Mark 13:31  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Psa 119:105  Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

James 3:17  But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.

I pray that you will find this web site of Bible Verses for Life both encouraging and useful in your spiritual walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:3-4   As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
